Two foot injuries were the extent of injuries reported after a car struck a semi-truck in Schlatterville on Tuesday.
Sheriff Jack Whisenant, who was on-scene after the accident, told the Enterprise that an occupant of the car received a foot injury as did the driver of the semi truck but other injuries were not initially reported.
According to Whisenant, the car was traveling west on Hwy. 82 when it struck a semi-truck traveling from High Bluff Rock Road to Schlatterville Road crossing the highway. The truck dragged the car onto Schlatterville Road and the car came to rest with the front end underneath the semi.
The Georgia State Patrol was called in to investigate the accident.
