State Transportation Board plan calls for specific freight corridors
Georgia’s freight network blueprint is part of a national effort spurred by Congress. The U.S. Department of Transportation outlined in October what factors a freight plan should include, such as costs, safety, environmental impact and any multi-state cooperation already in the works.
