Special to SEGAZINE
The iconic spaceship-like building visible from Interstate 85 and off Monroe Drive that has housed Piebar, Eros Tapas Bar and other short-lived concepts, will become a seafood and daiquiri spot called Cirque.
As Atlanta Business Chronicle reported first in May, Kechia Matadin, proprietor of the Daiquiri Factory in Midtown, said the restaurant will be an extension of Daiquiri Factory with a bigger focus on fish and a more upscale atmosphere, the magazine reports, adding the new restaurant could open as early as February 2014.
Cirque plans to serve lunch and dinner and have a bar with 15 daiquiri machines. The site will stay open to 2:30 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 1 a.m. most other nights.
