Christian Seth Cox, 38, has been charged with several drug related crimes after he attempted to run from Brantley County deputies attempting to serve outstanding warrants for aggravated assault and other offenses.
Cox was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute schedule II (crystal methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance schedule ii (crystal methamphetamine), possession of marijuana less than one ounce, possession and use of a drug related object, possession of a firearm during the commission of certain crimes and obstruction of a law enforcement officer in the area of the 21000 block of Hwy 520 East.
Cox was apprehended and was found to have several bags of suspected crystal methamphetamine, a set of digital scales and a .38 caliber handgun on his person.
He is currently being held at the Brantley County Sheriff’s Detention Center.
