Folkston residents want to keep riding ATV’s

Special to SEGAZINE

Concerned the city may be planning to limit their ability to enjoy riding their ATVs, a number of citizens showed up at the Homeland council meeting last week. The dozen or so residents, mostly from the east side of Homeland, questioned the council about their intentions, wanting to know if riding four-wheelers on private property would be limited and about how to legally cross a public roadway.“We just want our concerns considered,” explained one citizen. “We’ve got a community of young kids and we are trying to keep them engaged in activities so they don’t have nothing to do but get in trouble.”
