Special to the Enterprise
Some roadsides in Southeast Georgia will be a little crowded this week as the 34th Bicycle Ride Across Georgia heads toward the state’s southeastern corner.
The ride started Monday morning at Crisp County High School in Cordele and stopped overnight in Tifton. The riders — estimated from 800 to 1,000 — arrived at South Georgia College in Douglas Tuesday for two nights. They will arrive at Ware County High School in Waycross Thursday, spend Friday night at College of Coastal Georgia in Brunswick and finish in St. Marys between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday.
