The Coastal Regional Commission held a ribbon cutting June 12 at its new facility in Darien.
The building was dedicated to the Coastal Georgia cities and counties served by the CRC, which moved from its office in Brunswick.
The Coastal Regional Commission is a multi-county planning and development agency serving the 10 counties and 35 cities along Coastal Georgia. Areas of expertise include comprehensive planning, land-use development, historic preservation, aging services, business retention and development, global economics, grant writing and administration, coordinated transportation, technology, geographic-information systems, and disaster-mitigation planning.
