The Brantley County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tristan Thomas West, 27, this week and charged him with possession of a schedule IV controlled substance and possession and use of a drug related object after deputies, investigators and probations officers conducted a search of a residence in the 500 block of Bob White Loop. West was found to have in his possession one Valium tablet and injection paraphernalia was located at the rear door of the residence as he was attempting to exit to elude officers when they arrived.
In other activity:
Deputies responded to the area of the 1100 block of Miles Still Road in reference to a Burglary. The complainant stated he had left his residence for a short time and returned to find his door had been kicked in.
Deputies responded to the area of the 1500 block of Dixon Road in reference to Terroristic Threats and Acts. The complainant stated her estranged husband had that he was going to burn her house down.
Deputies responded to the area of the 4500 block of Hwy #32 West in reference to Burglary/Theft by Taking/Criminal Trespass. The complainant stated some unknown person(s) had entered his residence and had taken two firearms and had stolen a miter saw from a structure across the road from his residence.
Deputies were dispatched to contact a complainant in reference to Criminal Damage to Property. The complainant stated some unknown person(s) had damaged the fence around their water system.
Deputies were dispatched to speak with a complainant in reference to Theft by Taking. The complainant stated some unknown person had taken the tag off her vehicle.
Deputies were dispatched to the Brantley County Sheriff’s Office to speak with a complainant in reference to Theft by Taking/Burglary/Criminal Trespass in the 500 block of Connie Lane. The complainant stated some unknown person(s) had taken his golf cart and a trolling motor from his property.
Deputies responded to the area of Raybon Road West and Billy Jabobs Road in reference to a small child walking down the road. The child had walked away from its residence and was found walking on Raybon Road West. The father of the child stated he had walked out of the living room, where the child was playing, for a few moments and the child had walked out of the house. The incident will be turned over to the Department of Family and Children’s Services.
