Justin Evan Corson,18, was arrested and charged July 17 with possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, driving under the influence of drugs, weaving over the roadway and headlight requirements violation after deputies conducted a traffic stop on U.S. 84 near Satilla Street. The vehicle Corson was driving had one working headlight and he was weaving on the roadway. During the stop it was found that he was in possession of a synthetic marijuana called Spice and was also possibly under the influence of the drug.

Deputies responded to the Friendly Express #2 in reference to Theft by Taking. The complainant stated the offender had taken their vehicle and when it was returned a set of wedding rings was missing from the vehicle.
Deputies responded to the area of the 300 block of Elbert Wilson Road in reference to Unauthorized Use of a motor Vehicle. The complainant stated the offender had taken their 1994 Chevrolet Astro van.
Deputies responded to the Brantley County Sheriff’s Detention Center in reference to Interference with Government Property. An inmate had damaged a light in their cell.
Deputies responded to the area of the 4100 block of Tiger Bay Road in reference to a Civil Dispute. The complainant wanted the situation documented and the offender was advised not to come back to the residence due to a domestic dispute occurring at the residence.
Deputies responded to the area of Armadillo Run in reference to Theft by Taking. The complainant stated they had allowed the offender to stay at their residence for the evening and their wallet and prescription medications were now missing.
Deputies made contact with a complainant via telephone in reference to Terroristic Threats and Acts. The complainant stated the offender had called them and stated they were going to do bodily harm to the complainant.
Deputies responded to the area of the 100 block of Oak Ridge Drive in reference to Criminal Trespass. The complainant stated the offender had damaged a chair and had torn the skirting away from their mobile home and had fled the scene.
