As area residents continue to try and cope with the slaying of their neighbor less than a week ago, some are saying that the influx of curious onlookers is making it that much more difficult to handle.
A resident of the area who asked not to be named said that recent media coverage of the murder of Bobby Jenks last Friday has brought many unwanted visitors to see the scene of the crime – something that has raised some concern in the otherwise quiet private road community.
“We have small children that live down there and we are all trying to deal with what has happened and all this unwanted attention from curious residents isn’t making it any easier for us,” the resident said.
Jenks was the first of two deaths attributed to the same man in the last week according to Glynn County Police Department officials who took Raymond Brasiel into custody on Friday afternoon on murder and assault charges before later discovering the body of missing mother Amber Whited in which Brasiel is also considered a suspect.
